ER-ID
Placement

The ER-ID label is placed inside the clothing, protecting it from unintentional scanning. The ER-ID code acts as a key, allowing data to be accessed with any standard QR code scanner and can be read by any smartphone.

ER-ID Handling

ER-ID is designed as a digital emergency card and is to be produced with minimum effort. Each ER-ID is unique and can only be used once in a garment. Currently and as long as we are a startup, we will only send the labels digitally as PDF 40 x 140 mm. Later we will send printed labels to minimize sources of error.

The ER-ID logo should face outward and the QR code should face inward. Always sew the label in two inches or five cm to the left of the bottom hem. This ensures that rescuers do not have to search for it.

With three simple processing steps, the ER-ID label can be sewn in:

  1. cutting between the gray bars
  2. fold along the lines
  3. sew the label along the gray area

ER-ID
Data Policy

Data privacy is the number one question we get asked about—and rightfully so. At ER-ID, we take consumer privacy seriously. The responsibility for data protection rests entirely with our company, ensuring that no personal information is shared with third parties. Only anonymous, demographic data is used to help your brand better understand your customers. Most importantly, consumers have full control over what information they choose to share—there are no mandatory fields on the emergency profile. The only task we have is securely passing on the details selected by the user to those scanning the code in a time of need. Customers privacy, costumers choice, customers peace of mind.

ER-ID Roadmap
